What Lesions Could YouTreat with Electrolysis/Diathermy

Thread Veins
Telangiectasia tiny blood vessels widen and appear just below the surface of the skin, typically measure less than 1 millimeters in diameter and form thin, wispy red, blue, or purple lines that resemble spider webs or tree branches.
Without piercing the skin, we can eliminate the appearance of thread veins on any part of the body.

Milia
Milia are tiny, pearly-white or yellowish cysts that form when keratin gets trapped just beneath the skin's surface.
Often appearing around the eyes.
With careful precision using our specialist probe without piercing the milia, they can be dehydrated and cleared.

Filiform Warts
Filiform Warts, a small, fast-growing skin growth that has a thin, thread-like or finger-like shape often appearing on the face and upper torso - strong hereditary link. With Electrolysis/Diathermy the lesion is dehydrated and falls away. No cutting or piercing of skin - clean- comfortable-immediate removal.

Seborrheic Keratosis
Seborrheic Keratosis are very common, non-cancerous (benign) skin growth that often looks waxy, scaly, or as if it is "stuck on" the surface of the skin. In Clinic we call them 'Skin Barnecles'. Usually harmless and painless, but they can occasionally bleed if scratched, Dehydration and gently easing from the skin removes the lesion.

Skin Tags
Skin tags (acrochordons) are small, harmless, non-cancerous growths that hang off the surface of the skin, flesh-colored or slightly darker. Skin tags usually form in areas where skin rubs against skin, clothing, or jewelry. Quickly removed with Diathermy/Electrolysis.

Moles
Moles are small, coloured spots on the skin. Most people have them and they're usually nothing to worry about unless they change size, shape or colour. During your training you will be shown how to screen clients for treatment and to use our recommended screening service where needed.

Warts
A wart is a small, rough, non-cancerous growth on the skin caused by an infection from the human papillomavirus (HPV). Diathermy/ Electrolysis dehydrates the wart, it dries and falls away naturally - we never cut anything off the body.

Zanthelasma
Zanthelasma is a harmless yellowish cholesterol deposit that forms under the skin on or around the eyelids. (Xanthelasma) About half of the people who have xanthelasma have high lipid or cholesterol levels. Simple treatment but may return as a new deposit

Sun/Age Spots
Solar Lentigines
Sunspots are little areas of hyperpigmentation that are generally harmless (although they can be unsightly). They're caused by years of sun exposure. Also refered to as Liver Spots, because of their colour, they can be carefully dehydrated and removed from the skin surface

Cherry Angiomas
Cherry Angiomas are harmless, bright red skin growths made of clustered blood vessels. Small, round and slightly raised or dome-shaped. Usually between 1 to 5 millimeters . Often bright red, in colour but can look purple or dark blue. Lifted in seconds from the skin with this treatment.

Molluscum
Molluscum contagiosum is a common, usually harmless viral skin infection that causes small, firm, dome-shaped bumps with a tiny dimple in the center. Usually painless, though they can sometimes become itchy or red.Spread by touching contaminated objects like towels . Highly Contagious.

Syringoma
A Syringoma is a harmless, non-cancerous skin bump caused by the overgrowth of cells from your sweat glands. Usually form in tight clusters or groups, skin-coloured, yellowish, or pinkish. They are completely benign, more common in women. Simple treatment to dehydrate.
Unless you are Qualified to Diagnose you must not give medical advice.
