Income Disclaimer

Income and Earnings Disclaimer
1. Purpose of this disclaimer. This disclaimer applies to all our training, including our online courses, in-person (face-to-face) training days**, workshops, webinars, downloadable resources, and any related marketing, such as our website, emails and social media. By enrolling in or attending our training, you confirm that you have read and understood this disclaimer.

2. No guarantee of income or results. Our training is educational. We share knowledge, techniques and business information to help you develop your skills. We do not promise, guarantee or imply that you will earn any money, or any amount of money, because of our training. Any figures, prices, examples, case studies, testimonials or success stories we mention are for illustration only. They are ‘not typical’ and do not predict your results.
3. Your results depend on you. How much you earn, if anything, depends on many factors outside our control, including:- your existing skills, experience, qualifications and professional background - the time, effort and money you invest, and how well you apply what you learn- your location, local demand and competition- your pricing, marketing, business skills and customer service- the insurance, licences and registrations you hold- your treatment room, equipment and products- economic conditions and changes in the market- changes to laws, regulations or industry standards. Running a beauty or aesthetics business carries risk. You may earn less than you expect, or nothing at all.
4. Testimonials and examples. Testimonials, reviews, before-and-after examples and success stories are real experiences of individual students, shared with their permission. They show what some people achieved, not what you should expect. Their results may reflect experience, circumstances or effort that you do not share.
5. Training level and qualifications. Unless we clearly state otherwise for a particular course:- Our courses are CPD (Continuing Professional Development) training and are not regulated qualifications. Completing a course gives you a certificate of attendance or completion. It does not, by itself, qualify you to treat clients, to obtain insurance, or to work in a salon, clinic or any other setting. Insurers, employers, licensing authorities and professional bodies set their own requirements. These may include a recognised qualification, prior experience, or supervised practice. All CPD Courses are accredited with a CPD accrediting organisation.
It is your responsibility to check, before offering any treatment, that you:- hold the qualifications, experience and competence required for that treatment- have suitable professional indemnity and public liability insurance that covers the treatment- hold any licence or registration required by your local authority or regulator (some treatments require a special treatment licence in certain areas) - follow all relevant laws, regulations and industry guidance, including health and safety, data protection and consumer law
6. In-person training. For in-person sessions:- Practical skills develop with practice. Attending a training day does not guarantee that you will be competent or confident to treat clients independently. There is a possibility that you will fail the course. You should practise under suitable supervision, if you lack confidence and only treat paying clients when you are competent, insured and permitted to do so. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a suitable supervisor for treating clients as the company do not offer ongoing support once a course has completed and on your training day you have demonstrated the required level of competence to carry out any treatment.- Attendance at a session does not mean that we have assessed your competence for any treatment (specifically on-line training), unless the course description says it includes an assessment.
7. Online training. For online courses:- You are responsible for completing the learning and applying it safely and legally.- Online learning does not replace hands-on practical training. We recommend you seek supervised practical experience before treating clients, where relevant. Course content reflects best practice at the time it was created. Techniques, products, laws and guidance change, and you must keep your knowledge up to date.
8. Not professional advice. Our training and materials give general information only. They are not business, financial, tax, legal or medical advice. You should seek independent advice from a suitably qualified professional about your circumstances, including your business setup, tax obligations and insurance.
9. Your responsibility for your business decisions. You are responsible for your own decisions. This includes any money you spend on equipment, products, premises, advertising or further training after taking our courses. We are not responsible for any business losses or reduced income you may experience.
10. Limits of this disclaimer. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits our liability for:- death or personal injury caused by our negligence- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation- anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to this, we are not liable for any loss of income, profit or business opportunity arising from your use of our training.
11. Changes and contact. We may update this disclaimer from time to time. The version on our website at the time you enrol applies to you.
